Judith-Marie Elder was born May 5, 1943, in St. Joseph, Buchanan Co., Missouri, USA. Her parents were Wayne Arthur Elder and his wife, Ardy Mae (Butrum) Elder.
Judith Marie Elder married twice:
In June of 1999, Judith (Elder) Lane, afflicted with a kidney disease, received one of her husband's kidneys. She struggled long and hard to be positive despite the many complications she endured from this lengthy illness.
Judith was a graduate of Platte Business College, St. Joseph, Missouri., a graduate of CUNA Management School, serving as secretary of the Waterford Rotary, a member of the United Way Budget Steering Committee, and a U.S. Navy Ombudsman. She was a long time employee of Charter Oak Federal Credit Union, progressing up the ladder from clerk, to loan officer, to branch manager. 
Judith Marie (Elder) Lane died at the Lawrence & Memorial Hospital, Old Lyme, New London, Connecticut, on April 23, 2006, succumbing at last to complications from her lengthy kidney illness. Her husband survived her passing as did her sisters, Patricia J. Pixler of Bakersfield, Calif., and Valena K. Wheeler of Shawnee, Kans.; nephews Kevin W. Pixler, Kurt L. Pixler, and niece, Lynn Marie Wheeler. Judith was preceded in death by her parents and by a nephew, Christopher E. Wheeler.
