3. Honour Elder first cousin of her husband Michael. Honour Elder was the daughter of Jemima Dorsey, the sister of Michael Dorsey I; Jemima Dorsey married John Elder, born 1708
Notes: One source says this Honor Elder married ca 1763 Joseph Hobbes (-~1791), son of John Hobbs and Dorothy Clary. This puts into doubt the marriage and parentage listed here, since she was supposed to have married Michael Dorsey abt 1769. This same source does list Michael's wife as Honor Elder, d/o John Elder and Jemima Dorsey. [4]
