The Coshocton Weekly Times, 30 April 1908, has an obituary for one Cyrus Elder that says: Cyrus Elder, aged 75, died it the sanitorium in Columbus Tuesday where he has been for four or five years. ... During his stay there, the wife and son J.T. Elder have been making their home in Columbus. Other children named in the obituary are Prof. E.W. Elder of Boulder, Colo., Dr. D.J. Elder of Morristown, PA, Harry Elder of Pittsburgh, Clyde Elder of Wyoming, and Nora and Esther of Denver, Colo.
