RUSSELL, MILDRED ANNIE - Mildred Annie Russell wife of the late William (Bill) Russell, passed away at Central New Brunswick Nursing Home in Boiestown, NB on September 17, 2009. Born on December 14, 1921 in New Jerusalem, NB, she was the youngest and last surviving member of the immediate family of the late John and Annie (Vallis) Elder. Mildred was a lifetime member of the United Church Women and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion. She was a 4H leader for many years. Mildred was a seamstress and mail carrier for over 35 years. Mildred is survived by sons, James (Ruth) Taymouth, John (Barbara) Taymouth; grandchildren, Adam (Lanore), Laura (Brent) Baggs, Jeffrey, Roderick (April); great grandchildren, Dawson and Colton and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Mildred was predeceased by her sisters, Edith McCullum, Florence Urquhart, Ruth Alexander and Joan Rubridge; brothers, Edward and Robert Elder.
