Joseph Elder b 1872 Garvagh Co londonderry Death 10th Nov. 1944 Aghadowey Co Londonderry. The son in-law at his time of death was his daughter Norah's husband David Campbell.

I no longer believe this is the same Joseph Elder (abt.1855-1905) that died 27 Apr 1905 Ballyness, County Londonderry, Ireland

Research Notes

01 Aug 2022 - William Orr (1922-1990) was originally attached as the son of Joseph Elder, but due to resent "DNA links with matches with McCaffery, Joseph 1872s wife Mary was McCaffery, so his chidren would have McCaffery DNA, Joseph would not share this but his son Joseph 1898 would." ^[3] William has now been moved down the Elder line to son of Joseph Elder (1898-).
