Synneve Eliasdatter Øye was baptized on 20 Feb 1803 in Hjørundfjord, the daughter of Elias Jonsen and Sølvei Olsdatter.[1]

Synneve married Ole Olsen Skylstad (1792 - 1872) on 27 May 1822 in Hjørundfjord.[2] Their children were:

  1. Ole Olsen (1824 - 1894)
  2. Randi Olsdatter (1826 - 1910)
  3. Sølvei Olsdatter (1829 - <1875)
  4. Johanne Olsdatter (1831 - 1911)
  5. Elias Olsen (1834 - 1922)
  6. Johan Olsen (1836 - 1909)
  7. Ole Ingebrigt Olsen (1838 - 1914)
  8. Berte Johanne Olsdatter (1840 - 1922)
  9. Ingeborg Kanutte Olsdatter (1843 - 1936)
  10. Anne Marie Olsdatter (1846 - 1846)

In the 1865 census Synneve (age 65) was the wife of Ole Olsen at Skylstad in Hjørundfjord.[3] They lived with two of their children: Johan and Ole Ingebrigt.

Synneve died on 5 Nov 1866 in Hjørundfjord aged 63.[4]
