Deacon George Elliott, b. 9 March, 1736, at Killingworth, Conn., ninth son of the Rev. Jared Elliot, D. D., and Elizabeth Smithson of Killingworth. He was of royal descent. He was a farmer, and they settled at Killingworth, where he was deacon of the church and a justice of the peace, and where he died 1 May, 1810.
