Enos Ellis,[1] [2].[3] was the youngest son of Thomas Ellis and Jane.[4] He was the brother of:[2]

Marriage

Enos m. Elizabeth. Issue: 7+[2][6][1]

Confirmation of orderly marriage between Enos Ellis and Elizabeth Coleston was reported on the 30th day, 4th mo. 1748 in the minutes of the Womens Meeting at Exeter, Berks, Pennsylvania.[7] Marriage intentions were stated by on the 28th day, 2nd mo., 1748 at the Exeter MM[8] and on the 26th day, 3 mo., 1748 at the Exeter MM.[9]

On the 28th day, 4th mo. 1763, Enos Ellis, and his wife Elizabeth, along with their seven children viz.Thomas, Hannah, Rebecca, Jane, Dinah, Ellis and William, recieved a Certificate of Removal from the Exeter MM to the Hopewell MM, Frederick, Virginia.[11] On the 6th day, 6 mo., 1763, Enos Ellis, and his wife Elizabeth, along with their seven children were admitted to the Hopewell MM. [2][12]

Death

Enos Ellis died on May 7, 1783 in Berkeley co., Virginia and was reportedly buried at the Old Quaker Cemetery which is now located in Martinsburg, Berkeley, West Virginia.[6]
