Biography

Charles David Elkins is the son of Elem Elkins and Mary Belle Minter, and the 2nd oldest of 4 children: Edward Elem, Charles David, Bertha Catherine, and Eugene E according to the 1930 US Census.

9 July 1938 found Charles marrying Catherine M.. Wiley. Records indicate they had one daughter and son: Mary Katherine Elkins and Charles Beverly Elkins. This ended in divorce.

6 Oct 1945 Charles married Mary Virginia Blake, they had one daughter, Emma L. Elkins.

Charles passed away at the age of 75 and is buried in Pleasant Grove Cemetery Anchorage, Jefferson County, Kentucky, next to his wife, Mary Virginia.
