Biography

Clarice Lillian Ellefson was born in 1908 in Roland, Webster County, Iowa, the daughter of Edwin O and Tillie Mae (Johnson) Ellefson. (alternative POB: Callender, Iowa--from burial record." Roland POB from birth record of "Clarence Lilian" Ellefson with correct parents.)

20 April 1910, at the age of 2, she lived on her father and grandfather's farm with her parents, older sister and older brother in Roland, Webster, Iowa.

By 1915, when she was 7 years old in the Iowa State Census, the family had moved to Callender, Webster Co., Iowa.

1925--When she was 17, they lived in Webster Twp.

19 June 1936, Clarice and William Glenn Wesp were married at Yuma, Arizona. ^[1]

She moved from Callender, Webster Co., Iowa to California in 1936, where their daughter was born.

20 April 1940--The Wesp family, including their 3 year-old daughter, resided at 1237 Rialto St. in Colton, Colton Judicial Township, San Bernardino Co., California. William Glen worked for the Post Office.
