Biography
Abigail was born in about 1737. She was the daughter of ? Elliot and ??. She married Daniel Slate Jr in 1765. They settled in Bernardston, MA, where they had at least two children. She passed away in 1807 in Swanzey or Bernardston and is buried in Old Cemetery in Bernardston, Massachusetts.

Does this help? Thanks for pointing this out as I had assigned the wrong marker picture of Abigail Elliott to Abigail Slate in my own work. I actually don't see a picture of Abigail Slate's.

I am confused why you are continuing to transform this profile for Abigail wife of Daniel Slate into the other Abigail Slate-290, sister of Daniel and wife of Joseph Hale. Do you have a reason for trying to erase the memory of Daniel Slate's wife?? ;) Could you agree to maintain the existing Abigail Slate-290 for the Abigail Hale née Slate, and leave this profile Elliot-1490 for Abigail who married Daniel Slate and was née Elliot (though not totally confident that was her maiden name, but clearly her maiden name was not Slate). I will again reconnect this Abigail to her husband Daniel Slate -- as supported by the gravestone -- which clearly is not for Abigail Hale. Hoping we can agree to preserve the memory of Daniel Slate's wife!
