Date: Tue, 7 Jul 1998 02:15:44 -0600. 2 This is a long shot, but I'll try. 2 In 1808 Thomas Elliott, Esq., his wifeSarah Euston, and their three. children Thomas Elliott (b. 1802), CarolineElliott (b. 1804), and Walter. Elliott (b. 1806) left the island ofJamaica for Aberdeen, Scotland. Thomas Elliott, Esq. was a landowner inJamaica as well as a slave owner. Thomas and Sarah had two more children oncein Aberdeen, Frances Elliott. (b. 1808) and Daniel Elliott (b.1811).Thomas Elliott, Esq. died in 1813. and his wife Sarah died in 1818, leavingtheir children orphaned. Where. the sons went, I don't know. CarolineElliott married Adam Duncan and. her sister Frances married AlexanderDuncan. 2 Thomas Elliott, Esq. also had a brother inAberdeen named David Elliott,. wife of Sarah Crow. 2 I am sure the family had something to dowith shipping. They did not. originate in Aberdeen as there are noElliotts in the records before. them. Any ideas? Where did Thomas Elliott,Esq. come from before. Jamaica? 2 Robin Downie. robindownie@@juno.com
