Sarah (Elliot) Peele was born in Devon, England.
Sarah was baptised 16 June 1823 at St Andrew's in Plymouth, Devon, England. She is the daughter and last child of William Elliot and Ann Mitchell. Her father was a Quarter Master in South Devon Militia and died about 3 months before her birth.[1]
