Jean Elliot, the daughter of James Elliot and Hannah Irvine, was born in Stewarton, Ayrshire, between about 1816 and 1821, based on her various record and census ages.
Jean married as her second husband William Hall on 11 May 1855 in the Free St. Andrews Manse, Kilmarnock, Ayrshire. (First husband as yet unknown, but by whom she had five children.)
By William Hall she had one child:
Jane E. Hall, b. 1865 Stewarton
Jean may have died in 1884 in Stewarton, based on an index entry, but she was definitely deceased by the time of her husband's third marriage in 1887.
