Ann Elliot was born on 04 Aug 1776 baptised in the Ireshopeburn Presbyterian Church, Stanhope, Durham, England[1] She was the son of John Elliot and Jane. The baptism record of her elder sister Jane states that she is the daughter of John Elliot of Alston Moor, a miner.
Ann and Thomas Featherston married on 18 July 1808 in Wolsingham at St. Mary & St. Stephen's Church[2]
Ann and Thomas had eight children together before Thomas died in 1830.
Ann died in 1839 in Wolsingham and was buried on 20 September 1839 at the age of 63[3]
