Author's note: I believe that Andrew Ellet / Elliot who married Hannah Mead in 1706 is likely the son of Andrew Elliot (abt.1650-) and Anne Coombs (abt.1645-) who arrived in Pennsylvania on Penn's Fleet by 1682. I believe Andrew (Jr) is likely their first-born son in Pennsylvania.

There seems to be quite a lot of conflation between the Andrew Ellet, brother of William Ellet, and the Andrew Ellet who married Hannah Mead. I believe this is because they are father and son, and records like deeds in Bucks Co, Pennsylvania may not specify this. The Andrew who arrived in Bucks by 1701 is likely Andrew Sr. The Andrew who traded land in 1744 and 1747 is likely Andrew Jr.
