There passed away suddenly,from heart failure, at her residence Bonnie Doon, Boloko, on Monday last. Mrs Jane Margaret Kidman, widow of the late William Kidman (who died 4 years since) at the age of 71 years. Deceased was the eldest daughter of the late John Elliott of Boloko, and was born at Windsor, N.S.W., and during infancy came with her parents to Moonbah.Later she went to Omeo, Victoria, and, at the age of 20 years married Mr William Kidman, and lived at Bonnie Doon since. The late Mrs Kidman, who lived a quiet life was noted for her hospitality and the assistance she tendered in cases of sickness. Her survivors include four brothers, Simon and William of Sydney,James of Cobargo, and John of Boloko; and three sisters, Mary of Sydney, Catherine of Boloko; and Mrs Colebrook of Melbourne. Her family consists of six sons, Edwin and James of Paupong, Alexander Samuel, and Simon of Moonbah, and John of Leeton; and four daughters, Mrs Charles Kelly of Jimenbuan, Mrs Donald McPhie of Paupong, Mrs Walter Thurbon of Gunning, and Mrs Charles Thurbon of Peak View. She also leaves 18 grandchildren.The funeral took place on Wednesday, the remains being taken to St James' Church of England, Boloko, wherein an address the Rev. A. G. Cutts, who officiated, paid a high tribute to the sterling qualities of Mrs Kidman as a citizen and church woman. The pall bearers were Messrs Edwin James, Alexander and Samuel Kidman, sons of the deceased lady. There was a large gathering at the church and cemetery. .........
