Biography

George was born in 1899. He is the son of James Elliott and Susan McConnell.

George left Ireland and settled in Canada. He was employed as a Police Constable in Toronto.

In 1926 he married Dorothy Weir witnessed by Sadie Weir and his brother Joseph. George was 27 and Dorothy 24. Dorothy was the daughter of James Weir and Catherine Dillon. She was employed as an Operator in Toronto.

Twin daughters Sylvia and Isabel born in 1932 only survived for a day.

In 1938 George visited family in Donegal. He returned to Canada arriving at Quebec on October 3. He gave his last contact in Donegal as C/- Ardara Post Office, Occupation - Police Officer. [1]

George Elliott died in Toronto after 1938..
