Biography

William, son of Thomas Elliott and Catherine Robinson was baptised on 21 June 1846. William Elliott was a Farmer at Kimmid, Templecarn.

He married Catherine (Kate) Blair at the Convoy RP Church on 13 December 1888 witnessed by Edward Blair and Minnie Blair. William's father was deceased at the time.

William and Kate settled at Kimmid and had 4 children in the marriage, Thomas J, Minnie I, Catherine A (Kate) and David W.

He was named as one of the beneficiaries of his father's Will in 1891.[1]

William was widowed in 1930 when Kate died aged 78.

In 1938 William Elliott died aged 92 at Kimmid. His daughter-in-law Sarah Elliott Brimstone-8 was present and informant of his death.
