Biography
John was born in 1875 in Floyd, KY. He was the son of George W. Elliott and Sarah Humphrey. He married Sarah Belle Hall (1876-1963; d/o Wilburn Hall and Rachel Osborne). They eventually settled in Mingo County, WV. It is here he passed away in 1949 and is buried at the Blackberry City Cemetery.
