ELLIOTT-EDMUNDS. At St. Luke's Church Wodonga on Wednesday morning, the Rev. F. Abe B.A. officiated at the marriage by which Mr William Elliott of Tumbarumba, son of the late Mr Elliott, of Wooragee, was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to Miss Emily Edmunds, second daughter of Mr and Mrs James Edmunds of Leneva West. The bride, who was given away by her father, was very neatly, attired in a white silk gown trimmed with silk over lace and inser tion, and wore customary wreath and veil. The bride was attended by her sisters Misses Anne and Ruby Edmunds as bridesmaids, both of whom wore dresses of pale blue mery silk, prettily trimmed with silk lace and insertion. Mr William Edmunds was best man and Mr J. Boyes was groomsman. After the ceremony the party adjourned to Mr Geo. - Awburn's where the wedding breakfast was laid out in Mr and Mrs Awburn's lavish style. About 30 guests sat-down, and justice was done to the good things placed before them. The Rev. F. Abe proposed the health of the bride, Mr J. Boyes proposed the health of the bridesmnaids, Mr Paterson pro- posed- the health of Mr and Mrs Awburn. Mr and Mrs Elliott left by the afternoon train for Melbourne on their honeymoon trip. The bride's gift to the bridegroom was a silver mounted purse, and the bridegroom's gift to the bride was a gold bangle and to the bridesmaids gold brooches. The newly married couple received many useful and costly presents.

Mr W. G. E. ELLIOTT A resident of Bethanga for many years in Mr W. G. E. Elliott died in Wodonga early on Saturday, and was buried that afternoon in the Wodonga Cemetery, when Rev S. Humphrey read the last rites. A widow and one son are left to mourn their loss. Mrs James Sangster, of Wodonga, is a sister of deceased.
