See your trusted list requests. I'll correct the last name at birth for Annie. Thanks, Kay

John,

Please accept my apologies for dumping gedcom data in to some of the profiles you manage as well as attaching children/parents/spouses without discussing it with you first. I am cleaning up the bios this weekend.

Please let me know if you have any concerns regarding the work and attachments I have done.

See you in the branches,

Debi

John.. The information you have about William Polk is erroneous in part. No one knows where and when he was born, and he was alive in Jan 1757. If you want details of the how and why, please see me an email, Bill Polk, at [email address removed] Later, Bill

Hi again, John,

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, here are a few more features you may find useful:

  • Sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. See our process for resolving these situations.

Hi John,

Thanks for joining WikiTree! As a mentor I'm here to help. If you have questions or problems with WikiTree, post a comment on my profile page or send a private message.

  • Remember to add dates and locations to new profiles. Our vision is to build a collaborative tree with just one profile per person, so make sure to look for duplicates! http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Duplicates

Hi John,

Just a quick PS

Don't forget to Head over to the G2G forum. and take a minute to introduce yourself in the Tree House or ask a question in any of the other categories. There's also a brickwall tag in the G2G forum: for that "special" ancestor who is eluding you.

Best Wishes, and have fun adding your leaves and branches!

Thank you for volunteering!

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community! Please remember that we are trying to build one Collaborative Global Family Tree which means only one profile per person. It is important to ensure that no duplicates are created and profiles are properly sourced.

To help you get started, check out an introductory WikiTree video that a member created. For member benefits, see our Community Members page.

We also have a Mentor Team who will be glad to answer questions and help you with any specific problems.

Welcome and Enjoy!

Have been the custodian of family records for a while now. Family growing more disperse, so a good time to share some info (black sheep stories just for the related cognoscenti though ).
