Biography
James was born 29 Jun 1858 in Thetford, Ontario. In 1860 his address was Lexington Post Office, Lexington, McLean, Illinois, USA. [1] James Elliott and Ruth McKeown were married in Bosanquet, Ontario on 1 Dec 1880. [2] They farmed in Bosanquet, Lambton, Ontario, Canada. [3] [4] [5] They moved into Forest. From there, James and Ruth left for Rialto, California in 1916 intending to live there.[6] James and family continued to farm and live in Forest. [7]

Lindis Elliott (1948-2023)
if he was born in 1858 and was later married it seems highly unlikley he died before 1870.
