Biography

William was born in 1863 in Far Cotton, near Hardingstone, Northamptonshire, the son of Samuel and Mary.

He married Mary Ann Haycock in 1893 in Fenny Stratford. The marriage record says William was a fitter, and his father Samuel was a carpenter. Mary Ann's father was Thomas Shakeshaft Haycock, a Signalman on the LNWR. The witnesses were Thomas Shackshaft Haycock and Mary Jane Elliott.

William died just a couple of years later, in 1895.
