Biography

When John Sanderson Elliott was born on February 9, 1805, in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, his father, Robert Elliott, was 32 and his mother, Rebecca Flemming, was 28. He married Amanda Elliott on September 26, 1837. They had 11 children in 22 years. He died on November 11, 1877, in Howland, Ohio, at the age of 72, and was buried in Warren, Ohio.
