Biography

This profile is part of the Ellis Name Study.

Benjamin was born in 1699; he was baptised in the Sandwich Church on June 12, 1700.[1] He married Hannah Gibbs on March 25, 1724[2] and they had the children listed below. [1]

The family relocated to New Lebanon, Connecticut, closer to his wife's family, in 1748. His will of 1750 names "Hannah Ellis my dearly beloved wife" as executrix. Benjamin died before June 6, 1755.[1]
