His Find A Grave: Memorial #123906759 page shows that he first married Chloe Estella Wyckoff in 1920. Her memorial page on Find A Grave states that "She was married to J. G. Ellis June 23, 1915. During their married life they have lived in or near Athol, Kansas. She died October 6, 1920." There were no children from this marriage.
Jimmie was in a World War I Draft Registration military record in 1917-1918 in Smith, Kansas, United States.[1]
James Ellis married Zola H. Carver on October of 1923.
