Biography
Like his father, Arthur Ellis was a lawyer. After serving as the mayor of Ottawa, Ontario, from 1928-1929, he was elected as a Member of the Provincial Parliament in 1929 and remained in the legislature until his retirement from politics in 1937.[1]
Born in 1890, he was the son of James Ellis and Catherine Fishwick.[2]
He died in 1964.
