Biography

Margaret was born in 1868. She is the daughter of John Ellis and Margaret England. [1]

Margaret married John Artemis Cameron on July 16 1894 on Prince Edward Island. [2]

She was the daughter of the late John Ellis and Margaret England. Up to within a year or so ago when she and her husband moved to Port Hill, they had resided in Arlington. By her quiet dignity and unassuming manner she made many friends. Pall bearers at her funeral were her sons-in-law: Gordon MacArthur, Lorne MacKendrick, William Cameron, Claire Montgomery, Raymond Cotton and Clarence. Besides her husband, she was survived by seven daughters: Jessie, Mrs Gordon McArthu, Arlington PEI; Cora, Mrs. H. L, McKendrick, Birch Hill; Miss Edith Cameron, RN; Margaret, Mrs. W. H. Cameron, Lot 16; Blanche, Mrs. Clair Montgomery, Port Hill; Dorothy, Mrs. Raymond Cotton, Port Hill; and Olive, Mrs Clarence Phillips; a brother, Burton Ellis, Everett, MA, and four sisters, Mrs. W. H. Dennis and Miss Louise Elllis, O'Leary, Mrs. Spring, Rhode Island, and Mrs Charles Russell. [3]
