John Ellis, son of John Ellis and Rose Jennings, was born in Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts on 25 Aug 1735 and died in Pittsfield, Massachusetts on 6 Mar 1803. He married Elizabeth Sawyer 11 Dec 1760 in Tolland County, Connecticut. They had ten children.[1]
