Elizabeth was born and baptised[1] in 1683 at Tywardreath, Cornwall. She is the daughter of Mr Edward Ellis and Elizabeth Webb. Edward was originally from Camborne, Cornwall and married Elizabeth (who was from Tywardreath) at Camborne in 1672, then moved to Tywardreath after their first son born at Camborne later in 1672 died in 1673. Elizabeth junior was married to John Dunkin, a Tinner in 1710 at Camborne[2][3]. They had six children, including five sons, all born at Camborne. John died and was buried there in 1745. Elizabeth died there about 18 months later and was also buried at Camborne[4][5].
