Iva Lillian was born in 1900 in Flint Michigan. She was murdered by her second husband, on April 13, 1954. [1]
When Iva was younger, she and her sister Leila built a house, themselves, in Los Angeles, California. [2] They also had a geiger counter and would go to the Nevada and southern California desert to seek Uranium, to sell it for it's mineral value.[3]
Iva was a skilled seamstress and tailor. After her divorce, and during the depression, she supported herself and children by tailoring fine, handmade men's suits. Her son Jack remembered hunting for frogs to supplement their dinner.[4]
Iva liked to fish. [5]
