Biography
Peter Ellis, son of Peter, a miner, and Nancy, was baptised at St Just in Penwith on 5 August 1843.[1]
At the time of the 1851 census he was age 7 and living at Boscaswell with his parents and two younger sisters.[2]
In 1865 he emigrated to Victoria Australia with his parents and family arriving aboard the Morning Light in October 1865.[3]
In 1869 Peter Ellis married Eliza Warren at Creswick, Victoria.[4]
Peter died in Creswick in 1912.[5]

- Mr Peter Ellis, of Drummond street, died on Monday. He was one of the few old residents of Creswick left.[6]
He is buried at Creswick cemetery METH-7-1314 with is wife Eliza (died 13 April 1925).[7]
