John was born in Virginia in 1799. He came to Ohio in 1809. John married (1) Susannah James Wright on 27 Oct 1817 in Greene, Ohio. After her death, he married (2) Rebekah H. Richardson in Greene, Ohio on 8 Oct 1823.^[1] John died on 10/23/1878 on the farm where Christopher had lived, aged 81 years.
