Biography

Sarah Ellison was born on 19 Feb 1858 in Tennessee.

On 20 Aug 1879, she married Daniel Clarence Pierce (25 May 1859) in Union County, Tennessee. She was 21 years old when she married Daniel Clarence Pierce, who was 20 years old at that time. She had four children with Daniel Clarence Pierce: James Garfield Pierce (18 Jul 1880), William Franklin Pierce (23 Mar 1883), Berry Simpson Pierce (05 Jul 1885), Amanda Tennessee Pierce (28 Aug 1894).

On 31 Jul 1938, she died in Campbell, Tennessee when she was 80 years old. She was buried in Flat Hollow Cemetery, Campbell, Tennessee. Her husband Daniel Clarence Pierce died on 17 Sep 1929, 9 years before her.
