Biography

According to notes in a family group sheet provided by LHA, she died at the home of her grand-daughter Cynthia Cunningham and is buried in the Wright Cemetery 2 miles S.W. of LaPlata, Missouri.

Research Notes

The 1810 Census shows a Susanna Glazebrook in Barren County Kentucky with one male between 26 and 44 and four females under the age of 10. This 1810 Census entry has one female (presumably this Susana) between the age over 26 but under 45 years old. (birth between 1765 and 1784).

Augustine is never listed as a witness to any of the marriage records of his four daughters beginning in 1818.

The Barren County Kentucky Deed Index shows an Augustin Glazebrook, dec'd with a Susanna Glazebrook giving power of attorney to a David Elmore in 1813.

Some researches on Ancestry have assumed that James Glazebrook is the father of the four Glazebrook sisters. It's also possible that James was their uncle and was living in the household in 1810.

This archived Genealogy Forum notes a Susanna Emore marrying an Augustine Glazebrook.

The Plat Map (Pages 13 and 14 online) of Macon County Missouri shows two cemeteries SW of LaPlata. One here (40.013N, 92.5247W) and one here (40.00N, 92.505W).
