DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with William by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. I removed the parents of William Elmore. James and Sarah Tarpley Elmore had a son named William, but their son William lived in Brunswick County, Virginia and died in Brunswick, Virginia. His wife was Susan or Susannah.

Elmore-393 and Elmore-853 appear to represent the same person because: These two William Elmore's have wives with remarkably similar names. They seem to be the same person.
