Biography
This profile is part of the Wheatley, Oxfordshire One Place Study.
Louisa's birth was registered in the Jul-Aug-Sep quarter of 1848 in the Aylesbury district.[1]
In the 1851 census Louisa was living with her parents, sisters and several servants in Bierton, Buckinghamshire where her father was curate. A few months later they moved to Wheatley, Oxfordshire where her father took up a post as vicar that he would hold for over 30 years. [2]
Louisa's mother died less than a year after their move to Wheatley and her father remarried. In the 1871 census Louisa (age 22) was living with her father, sisters, step mother and half brother at the vicarage, Wheatley, Oxfordshire, England.[3]
Louisa died on 9 February 1926 in Bath, Somerset, England and her estate passed probate on 5 March 1926 in Bristol.[4]
