Tabitha Elwell was born on 16 September 1770 in Buxton, Maine[1].
She married Samuel C. Cobb on 9 December 1802 in Buxton, Maine[2]. They had six children[3]:
- 1. Edward, born 4 Sep 1804; married Martha Frost
- 2. Eunice, born 11 Oct 1806; married Nathaniel Frost
- 3. Joseph, born 3 Jun 1808; died young
- 4. Samuel, born 3 Jun 1808; married Sarah Jordan
- 5. Lois McLellan, born 3 May 1810; married 1st Jonathan Redlon, 2nd Nathaniel Strout
- 6. Caleb J., born 4 Jun 1812; married Julia Cook
Tabitha passed away on 20 October 1840[4] in Gorham and is buried in Eastern Cemetery.
