Charles Frederick Ely, Shreveport, La., b. 1799, d. 1842, son of Charles Ely and Elizabeth Perkins; m. 1824 in Missisippi, Henrietta Maria Shaille (AKA Shelby), Camden, Ark., who was b. 1806, d. 1868, dau. of Zacharias Shaille and Henrietta Matthews. Their children :
1. Elizabeth Heller, b. 1826, m. 1845 John Ira Silliman.
2. James Pennoyer, b. 1828, d. 1845.
