Albro Ely, Harwinton, Conn., b. 1809, son of Eli Ely and Sarah Sanford; m. 1846, Philomela Thompson, Mansfield, Conn., who was b. 1823, dau. of Charles Thompson and Mehitable Slate. Their children :
1. Jane Olivia, b. 1848; m. 1869, Henry Smith Coe.
2. Walter Albro, b. 1851; m. 1873, Henrietta Maria Terry.
