Emmeline Hoe Ely, 314 Clermont Ave., Brooklyn, N. Y., b. May 25, 1835, dau. of Giles Sill Ely and Emmeline Amelia Hoe; m. June 25, 1856, William MacNaughton, 314 Clermont Ave., Brooklyn, N. Y., who was b. Nov. 8, 1820, d. Feb. 6, 1879, at Paisley, Scotland, son of Alexander MacNaughton and Janet Allen. Their children:
1. Ramsey, b. Oct. 6, 1857; m. May 7, 1898, Alice Fisk, b. July 27, 1870, Manchester, Vermont.
2. James, b. June 29, 1862 ; m. Dec. 5, 1888, Sarah E. Parsons, Holyoke, Mass.
3. Allan, b. July 12, 1864; m. Nov. 15, 1888, Gertrude G. Pease, b. Nov. 3, 1866; residence Park Ave., Brooklyn.
