Biography

Clifford Mortimer Ely was born in Etna, Wyoming on October 30, 1929^[1] to Ray Ely and Olive (Ames) Harris. He was the second of seven children born to the couple.

Clifford was raised on his family's ranch in Teton County, Wyoming.^[2] By 1935, the family had moved to Afton, Wyoming.^[3] In 1941, they moved again, this time to Umatilla County, Oregon.

Clifford married Wanda L. Rose in Minden, Nevada on May 1, 1973.^[4] He was a member of the International Order of Odd Fellows. Not much else is known about his life.

Clifford passed away in Umatilla County, Oregon on December 15, 1990. He was 61 years old.^[1] He is buried in Milton-Freewater IOOF Cemetery in Milton-Freewater, Oregon.^[5]
