Biography
Eleazer Cady Ely, Johnstown, N. Y., b. 1820, d. 1882, son of Joseph Ely and Mary Yost; m. 1854, Ann McFarland (McCarty), dau. of Alexander McFarland and Olive Mosker. No children.
The 1880 Census lists his occupation as a clerk in a coal office.
