Biography
When Delilah Embry was born in 1776 in North Carolina, her father, Mr. Embry, was 23. Delilah Embry was living in the 13 colonies at one of the most important turning points in American history—the signing of the Declaration of Independence. She married James Regan on Sep 7, 1815 in Robeson Co., NC and they had one daughter, Mary "Polly" Ragan in 1792. She died in 1870 in Tennessee at the impressive age of 94.
