Biography

Sarah Emerson was born on June 20, 1709, in Haverhill, Essex County, Massachusetts, the daughter of Benjamin and Sarah Emerson.[1][2]

History of Sutton, NH, Worthen, 1975, p. 725 shows b. 1708

"..Sarah Emerson,born in 1708, died Sept. 10, 1804, probably daughter of Benjamin and Sarah(Philbrick) Emerson."[3]

Haverhill MA Vital Records to 1850 show death, old age, 95.

Sarah Emerson is [probably] the daughter of Benjamin Emerson and Sarah (Silver)(Philbrook) Emerson. [4]

Sarah married Samuel Gile, of Chester, Massachusetts. They later moved to Haverhill, where she became the mother of six children, born there.
