Biography

"Nathaniel Emerson, son Judge Samuel, born Sept. 7, 1764. Married Jan. 12, 1786, Sally Lovejoy, daughter of Phineas Lovejoy. He lived in Plymouth, where he died August 17, 1808. She married Second, April 15, 1810 Matthew Ramsey. i. Sally, born Jan 10, 1787. Unmarried. Died Plymouth, May 25, 1879. ii. Polly, born Feb.29, 1788. Died Nov. 17, 1801. iii. Sybel, born Oct. 10,1789. iv. Phineas L. , born Sept. 3, 1791. Married Amy Willoughby, daughter of Jonas Willoughby. She married second, William Nevine Wheeler. v. Hannah, born May 5, 1794. vi.Deborah, born June 8, 1796. vii. Levina, born June 5,1798. Died Young."[1]
