Biography
Being the only Emery family in Roxton it's assumed that Elizabeth was the daughter of Richard and Ellen, but it is speculation. As there are no Roxton parish records pre 1602 it's also an assumption that she was born in Roxton.
In fact, other than her marriage in Roxton, everything about her is an assumption!
She married John Byworth at Roxton on 20 Apr 1602.[1]
The Romsey, Hampshire, Emery's are not connected to the Bedfordshire Emerys, despite what many descendants would like to think.
