Biography

Elizabeth Emley was born April 8,1732 in Bethlehem, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, a daughter of John Emley and Sarah Lawrence. Elizabeth’s death and burial information is not known. She is cited in John Emley’s family Bible as the seventh child of John Emley (1691-1761) and Sarah Lawrence Emley (1694-1742). She is mentioned in John’s will as Elizabeth Mott. She married Solomon Mott.

Emley-173 and Emley-140 appear to represent the same person because: Emley-173 had incorrect birth date; her parents were dead in 1780.
