Biography

He may have also gone by the surname of Emery or Emory. He is listed as a Hessian Soldier from Canada. He was still alive in January 1810.

According to his daughter's Find A Grave site (# 39663441) by Tom Cornell it says his name was Bernhard Emmerich/Emery and he was a Hessian Soldier. Update 08/25/2017 I double checked Find A Grave and the grave says Emery. /jam Update 09/16/2017 Chloey Emery Cornwell (# 39663441) has a comment, "dau. Bernhard Emmerich/Emery (Hessian soldier)

Information was added to FAG with a "Burial: unknown" and no source. (# 97016029) now has the name Bernard "Barney" Emery.

Emmerich-74 and Emmerich-93 appear to represent the same person because: his references refer using both Emmerich, Emery one profile has him born in Canada the other Germany other than that his wife and children are all the same.
